Body Buddies, though still small, is a social enterprise run by people under the age of 30. We are committed to ensuring we give young people the voice & platform they deserve to showcase their INCREDIBLE skills! As we grow, we pledge to continue prioritising young people in our work.

Aayushi Khillan

CEO & Founder

Aayushi is a multi-award-winning youth & health advocate and a medical student! She founded Body Buddies, a renowned social enterprise that focuses on raising health literacy in a creative way. In her spare time, she also sits on the VCAA Board, Australian Government STEM Youth Advisory Group, CMY Advisory Group & the AMSA National Executive.

Rohit Kakanoor

COO

Hello! I am Rohit, a full time management consultant and a part-time COO of Body Buddies. My passion for health awareness coupled with business strategy helps me provide a unique perspective to Body Buddies. In my spare time, I love playing sports, spending time in the gym and binge eating food!

Katie Adair

Creative Design Lead

Hi! My name is Katie and I'm a 21 year old student studying in Edinburgh, UK. I have a passion for learning about medicine, as well as teaching and illustration. That's why I am so excited to be an intern with Body Buddies and make health education fun!

Keen to Work With Us?

Body Buddies' ran a first-ever volunteership opportunity in 2023. Though it received massive amounts of support, with the current economy, we recognise that volunteering opportunities should be converted into paid internships where young people can have a strong impact in our organisation and be compensated for their wonderful work too! (p.s. we know student debt & burden is real *sigh*). So for now, our internship program is currently on hold.

Since we are a small but expanding business, we hope to have more paid opportunities to work with us as we grow!

We do, however, recognise that we have an incredible platform for young people to share their story, upskill in a fun working-environment & champion health-awareness missions they believe in.
